Hi, my limewire pro 4.8.1 has been workin real well till very recently. but now when i start it up it slows my whole system down to a snails pace. as soon as i start limewire, the windows task manager shows that my CPU is running flat out at 100% (eventhough i have no other applications open) and that limewire is using around 70MB of memory. when i close limewire the CPU goes back to the normal levels.
I have norton antivirus watching out for viruses etc and have done a full system sweep with ad aware and removed all the spyware etc but still the problem persists. Any advice would be gr8ly appreciated. Thank u kindly |

LimeWire may be hashing the files in your library. In that case you should see something like (23 / 25 ) in your status bar where the number of shared files is listed.
