Default need help identifying connection speed
Hi,
I am new to Limewire and have a modem/wireless router(broadband) and Charter high speed internet. When I download files at Modem speed they are quite slow but at speeds like T1 and T3 and Cable/DSl(im sorry I don't really know what those mean...im dumb) my downloads are faster. I am not sure which speed I have. Can anyone help?

i got kinda the same prob im using dsl and my answer to you is maybe its just the person that you are trying to upload from may be using dial up so maybe thats why its slow but i think that im having a diff kinda prob

no I mean like I'm not sure if MY home connection is t1 or modem or something

oh um ring up ur internet people and ask them i know how to do it but i live in aus and i most likey have a diff internet modem and connection
