Current Downloads Disappeared
I have a Microsoft Windows XP Professional on my IBM laptop, with and Optimum Online internet connection, and I have a wireless router Belkin Wireless card. I have Limewire version 4.8.1, and Java version 1.5.0_02. Everything's been fine since I downloaded Limewire about a month ago. When I tried to start up Limewire this morning, all the files I've been downloading weren't there. No sign of them. I checked the Incomplete Downloads folder and everything there was fine. The files "downloads.bak" and "downloads.dat" were there. They were 1 kb each, if that means anything.
When I was browsing through the forums, I found a thread that said when you don't close Limewire before shutting it down, it might cause problems, but it didn't include problem's like this. Can anybody help? Last edited by Xelblade; July 27th, 2005 at 08:33 AM.
