Search the file-name again; using LW's search. Try an any type general search & don't make it too specific. Sometimes it brings in more results than a search that's too specific. That's because there can be variations in the name of a particular file.

ok this is making me mad...

I did a search, both specific and really general and I found the file I was looking for and when I went to download, it stopped and said waiting for busy host. I did that for two hosts and I cannot find the file on another host at all. How do I keep the computer from waiting from busy host? How do I get the file without downloading it for a long time bcause it's just a pain and it won't stop waiting.

Right-click the top of the column bar (be that downld or results window) & choose to show vendor/version. Does it say a LW user or a RAZA user. If RAZA then there's your problem. Shareaza spend most of their upld/downld bandwidth on another network & so Gnutella users are very often left with only a very small bit of any upld bandwidth (b/w 0.1-3 KB/s.) (RAZA's other network requires you can only downld as fast as you upld!)

If the user is LW then shame on them really unless they're just particularly popular to upld from & thus consistently have no free slots for uplding.

Sometimes this happens when there's limited no. of people sharing the same file. And if it comes from a RAZA user then it sometimes can be a painful long process to get the file. Patience is a virtue here. ;)

ok now I'm getting "awaiting sources" all the time. I click on "resume" and it goes back to "awaiting sources" over and over and over again. What to do?

If you still have the search results handy, then cancel the downld & reselect the file to downld from the search results. Problem might be however that they've gone offline. But at least that will give you a fresh file to work with. Once you've resumed it & it shows awaiting resources then it is basically exhausted. The way I suggested will give you a fresh file to work with. Again, re-search the topic name of the file. Then try resuming if no go. But chances are they've gone offline by now if that continually happens.

BTW did you try to browse them? If you are able to browse them then that sometimes brings up new sources (via people who they are connected thru) & might even revive your downld with that person or the other sources found. Just a thought. It's something I generally try.

ok the file is at 4% and hasn't gone up at all all day. I want to start over starting back at 0% then go up. I cancelled the download and when I found the file again, it'd start again from where it left off, instead of starting over at 0%. How do I cancel completely so I can start all over again back to 0%?

You would need to delete it from the incomplete folder. But be wary of doing this. So many people make mistakes by deleting from the LW Library window. You can delete it either from the Library window>incomplete folder OR go directly to the incomplete folder & send it to recycle bin from there.

As I said earlier, if the source is a non LW user, then it can be a pita to get the file to finish sometimes. I've taken over 6 mths to complete some files believe it or not. lol :D But instead of deleting I tried to be patient until either I was able to get a slot from this person or someone else had also downlded the same file & become a sharer of it.
