![]() It all depends on the country where you live. If you are living in the US, then they have been implementing methods to catch offenders of downloading illegal music. So far they have been nailing people with libraries of 1000+ files. But for example, up here in Canada, they still haven't done anything yet, so I'm safe for now. |

![]() I have been sharing, downloading on P2P networks long before Lars Ulrich discovered Napster and have yet to get caught. It all depends on how active you are as a user. Here's a hint, if sharing only share about 50-100 files, if you share over a 1000 files, you could get caught, if downloading and not sharing, I read they are only going after the ones they can catch from the US who are sharing large amounts of files, not sure about downloaders. When I share, I share very small amounts, mainly old music, rare music and thats it. ![]() |
