welll i just started using this program and i am a little scared of getting caught and haveing to pay 100 thousand dollars per track i download. so is this legal or what. plus how do you tell if a track is good to download or illegal to download??

Ummm unless you own the CD I think it's illegal to download any song...

Everything is copyrighted, if you write a guide for a video game it is automatically you copyrighted intelletcual property and sites can't host it without your permission.

If you're paranoid about getting caught turn off sharing so you're a freeloader, I read in Newsweek the RIAA can't do anything unless you're letting people download off of you.

Technically, anyone can get prosecuted for downloading any copyrighted material. There are lots of songs that aren't copyrighted though. The RIAA will only go after people who share lots of files, but it's up to you whether you wish to break copyright, Limewire exists as a method of sharing files. It's your choice what you share.
