windows xp aol 9.0 no firewalls dial up 200gb memory

a file is downloading, then the percent done starts decreasing. i e 26 percent complete, shows it is downloading, the percent complete goes to 25, 24. This is on all files being downloaded. It shows I am downloading from up to 5 hosts on each download. Ideas?

when I follow steps to "revert to default"... no matter what (whether I click restore defaults, ok, or apply) it goes back to unchecked. there fore, it is MAKING itself unchecked, thus not allowing me to download to system.

my OS is (unfortunately) windows ME.

Hi I did all of the above but after clking revert to default I cked apply and my check erases so I clk OK still doesn't work when I try to download the popup "lw unable find license blah blah??? Help me someone

After setting to default, then make the other change in settings for searches. See page one again, post #4.

I have Vista does that make a difference??
