Default won't download (or really slow)

I've been surfing the forums for a couple hours now before I posted, but I only saw similar posts but nothing quite like this:
I have a dsl connection and when i download from the internet I can get up to 200kbps, and in lime wire just yesterday i could get up to about 80kbps on a fast download.
Starting today, I couldn't get past 1kbps on a download and most of my attempted downloads wouldn't start at all. It said they needed more sources, even though they had about 50 each. I am not new to lime wire so I know pretty much what I'm talking about on most issues, but I'm totally stumped on this one.

Thanks, Champloo

Usually when this occurs it iis the preference folder issue. If you have a router there could be a problem there. The link below Will take you to the preference folder fix. If that doesn't work a little more Information would be helpful.
