| I'm on a cable modem and regularly see download speeds of ~600KB/sec. When I start downloads in Limewire they initially download quite swiftly and then my entire connection creeps to a halt. All internet access halts until I close limewire and "Repair" my connection. I'm running windows XP on an Athlon 3000+ with Nvidia Nforce3 250 chipset. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks, Dustin Last edited by D_REX; August 23rd, 2005 at 05:59 PM. |

| I don't think there is a cure for this one yet it happens to me also but it is my router that I have to reset. It seem to happen more frequently if I run in UPnP mode. If I port forward I only have to reset about once a day. Are you using a router. |
