downloading files
 

hi, i've just installed the new version of limewire, i'm showing excellent connectivity, but when i click to download a file,nothing!! any suggestions would be appreciated.

When you say 'nothing' do you mean that the file name doesn't show up in the Download screen?

I am having the same problem. The d/l's do not start when I click on them. I use Limewire on my Mac with no problem. But on the PC it's not working.

do you have enough sources? i haven't had any problems with limewire except the thing lagging when it started up. check the thread in my signature.

none of that applies, I have more than enough protection, I've check & rechecked, uninstalled & reinstalled still not able to download.

do you have a router/firewall blocking your p2p?

i have a question along the same lines how do i know what speed to set on the pro version of limewire

t3
ive set it to t3 and i have a 512k broadband connection
now setting it to t3 has increased my dld speed by 200% but im worried that the file will bw corrupted in some way can anyone put my mind at ease
