Im ok, im sure ive seen the registery, i probably just dont know it by name (i like to mess about with files and things), is it possible for either you to teach me, or is there any other method of doing it?

We will try another method first but I do not know if it works with the newer versions of Limewire try the link below you may have to install LimeWire basic. but you can try it with your current version first. Go to where it talks about the preference folder in the link.
