Yup, i cant totally believe that. Im on Tiscali 1Mb and it only started being slow a few months ago and sometimes it will randomly go fast for 1 or 2 downloads but nothing continuous. I think its a time thing, they block it during peak hours or something.
They do say something in their 'fair usage policy' about kicking P2P users in the backside

Anyway, i found a much better deal so im switching provider

Default Tiscali Blows

I would but I am contracted for another 5 months

I have had no end of trouble with tiscali, there customer service is nearly non existent, the worst thing is I upgraded to 2mb unlimited 2 weeks ago and they said it would take 4 days for the speed to go up, but i still have 512k speed and am being charged for 2mb. if i was really dumb i wouldnt notice.

everyone take heed, dont go with tiscali. they see customers as a resource for revenue.

apparently when you quit the tiscali contract you cant use another iISP's broadband on your line for 15 days.

Yup, same happened to me when i upgraded to 1Mb, after four days i had to email their customer support to actually TELL THEM i wanted the extra speed i was paying for!!

Indeed they do string you along right until the end asit turns out they dont even support migrations, how convenient, so you have to have at least one more month with them when you give them notice of termination

The dirty, money-grubbing *******s...
