 No it wouldn't make any sense for LimeWire to search your own computer. And yes that is true for all of the Gnutella net as far as I know. The only p2p program that I know of that will show results from your own computer in the search results is WinMx and I do not believe it is suppose to but occasionally it does it will come up in your Q.
