Then I must be an idiot. I guess I need help with the basic function. How to transfer music from the Limewire to my MP3. How embarassing.

What brand of mp3 player is it? Is it a portable player? Many mp3 players have an intermediate program that acts as a media manager & makes it easy to transfer.

It's a Memorex 3731 (portable). I did manage to download by loading the music files to a shared file and then hit the copy button.

That seems a bit cumbersome to me though. ???
