Default Can "YOU" solve this problem??

Computer: 512MB Ram, 900Mhz Celeron, 56K modem,
Limewire 4.9.4, Java 1.5.0_02

Hi im just new to lime wire... I uses to use kazaa before, which i never had any problems with. With lime wire, the only problem im having is that, when i start downloading big files like 200MB or 300 MB I never get to finish some files. For example im downloading "The Roswell Incident Footage - Full Movie" which is 217.4 MB. i completed is about 54%. Then next time I resumed it, it started from 16%... it happened to me with other files too. I shut down limewire properly everytime. Is there any fixture for that?? Please let me know. Thankyou. Also sometimes limewire uses about 90% or around this of my CPU and stays like that for 2 - 3 minutes.

I know this wont be much help but the larger the file the harder it is to download. when you download you have to rely on two things: the others users being online at the sametime you are and their speed. your uploading speed is your true speed. LW has a habit of disconnecting if on for long periods of time as well.

Movie files are extremely large and can take days to download, especially if the hosts go offline. The only thing to do is keep at it. Stay active for as long as you are dling the file.

and one big forum tip: never announce what you are downloading.

Full Movie" which is 217.4 MB
edited to add: a full length movie is 600-700megs and over depending on the format and file extension. Im not sure if that is full length file. if that is a tv movie then maybe.
