Angry no downloads/options not activated

Although about 80% of what I see as an answer to a search query are those well-known files sized 851,7Kb, I still manage to find a few others. Yet, whenever I try to download a program file, the answer turns from "Connecting" to "On Queue" and finally to "more connections needed", so that I cannot download anything but audio files.
What is even more, the options "filters" and "advanced" are not activated in the options menu.
Lime Wire Pro 4.9.3 tells me that I am behind a firewall, which is funnym because I am not. My OS is Mac OS 10.4.2.
Can anyone help me with these issues?
