 If you are using Bearshare I don't know the answer. If you are using Limewire, and have followed LOTRs advise it might be worth checking in your options or preferences.>downlaods. Make sure that the maximum number of downoads is set at 1 or more, though no more than about 10 and also that the cursor on the Download Bandwith is at about 85% If you change either of these click apply and then OK.
