For LW, you need to set up for downloading file to what folder, for default, i think it in LimeWire folder in program folder

If you go to Limewire's options or preferences>saving>save folder You should see a folder location entered there which is your download folder. You can easily change it to a folder of your choice. If you make a change, remember to click apply>ok
