My computer crashed and all my incomplete downlads are missing.... I can see them in my incomplete folder, but not in limewire....

anyone help?

My PC Crashed while i was away and my incomplete files have gone. I have found a file in my "Incomplete" folder on my HD that has a DAT file called "downloads" but for some reason Lime can't find it. Can anyone please help me....???

download.dat is your downloads preferences file.

If your computer crashes or you don't close LW down properly before shutting down your computer then this file can become corrupted. To get your downlds back into your downld window ... go to your LW Library window, select Incomplete folder, Select all the files holding down the SHIFT key & press the Resume button. This will force them all back to the downld window. BUT ... sorry to say, your downlds will all begin from 0% despite what size they might be.

BTW the reason you couldn't find your previous post is b/c you posted in the Bearshare forums. lol That's a different program. Remember this forum caters for many Gnutella programs.
