I know you are all trying to be helpful, but this is not a drive space problem.

Someone above already stated they are having this issue with more than 70 gigs free.

I'm having the same issue and I have more than 25 gigs free.

And I've got 200 gigs free. It's not a space problem. I have been unable to download anything since switching to a new intel mac and installing the latest LW version (4.14). I never had any problems before.

Now, when attempting to download a file, the status heading instantly displays "disk problem" and the progress heading instantly displays "100%". There are no files in the incomplete folder either.

It's a mystery so far to me.

Default differant twist to same issue.

I just posted this issue today, guess I should have done a search first, sorry. But anyway, I built my system myself and have some knowlege of how it all goes down. I have never had an issue with limewire untill yesterday. I installed a new seagate 120gb drive as a slave. After that was done I put all my current music files on that drive to save some space on my primary. All went fine, files opened played no issues. But as soon as I point my LW save folder to the new drive EVERY download ends in a disk error. And they dont download all the way, maybe 15%. I havnt had any intermitten problems at all.

Ive formatted, reinstalled. All with no change. I can point the save folder back to my master drive and it works great. I even tried installing LW to the slave drive to see if that changed. NO result. So this problem doesnt make any sense to me at all.

Default Sorry To Scream So Loudly, But, This "disk Error" Problem Needs To Be Resolved....now

I'm gettin' really tired of having to go back and RE-SEARCH for a shitload of files that were in my DL Queue, which ALL OF A SUDDEN acquired the DISK PROBLEM error, when I have sufficient disk space, memory, etc. The only thing I DON'T have is any more PATIENCE!

Please address this problem ASAP, as it seems like it's no longer an inconvenience. It's spread to become a viable "opportunity" for you LimeWire Programmer Geeks to EARN YOUR MONEY!!!!

i dont know much at all about my computer but i do know its not a space issue.
if its any help to anyone, files that display disk problem under status can be fully downloaded, it just takes a while. if you cancel a file when "disk problem" comes up, then select the file you are trying to download again and resume the download, it eventually downloads properly.

i dont have an answer to the problem, but hopefully this will help until an answer becomes apparent.
