 P2P networking is what is says Peer to Peer, meaning person to person. You download directly from someone elses computer, so it isn't up to limewire to control what 1 person shares or what you download. Plus if there were to start 'filtering' for viruses what else would they filter for? I say it's best left alone! just be careful, there are losts of posts in these forums explaining how to safely use limewire. ie checking file size...  |
