For some reason all my limewire download songs have saved as 3mu instead of MP3.....why?! I can't seem to change it. my MP3 will only play MP3s not these weird 3MU ones.

can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? pretty please?!

M3us are not song files. They are just playlist files. You need to go to Preferences > saving > save folder. That will show you the location of your mp3 files. You can play these files in your player!

WARNING Do not delete any songs from the Limewire Library. They will be Permanently deleted

Help me HOBO! i think I'm making it more complicated than it is but I can't find them! It's ust these playlist 3mu things....they show as mp3 on the limewire library, but when I 'enqueue' or 'save as' it still says, 'save as playlist' ,......
what am i doing wrong?!?!?!?! I should be blonde!

I may not be explaining this perfectly as I use a mac and afaik m3u files are a windows only thing.

Furthermore I dissabled the Limewire player the second day I had it as the sound from it did my ears no good

Enqueuing is the making of a playlist for the limewire player. These files that you queue are m3u playlist files, which I believe link somehow to the mp3s.

Did you find tools/options/preferences > saving >save file. Can you write out what it says there.

Your mp3 player is not concerned with limewire, the limewire playlist or player. It is only interested in the mps files, and I think all you have to do is find them

I eventually got my brain in gear after re-reading your helpful notes and actually found the proper mp3 files by searching for a file.
