viruses!

been downloading a few .exe files lately, aka patches and stuf from firends, and whenever i download them through limewire, the same virus is in each one! I use another download system ,and no problem? any ideas? I don't want to uninstall it either.

Some more suggestions here Perfectly Safe from Spyware,rootkits,viruses ALL FREE PROGRAMS TO GET RID OF THOSE Prevention is the best advice of the day. Scan everything before opening & avoid what are obviously virii filled files that are spammed. (Not confusing with other types of spam such as mp3 spam & ipod image spam.)
