if i log off or shutdown my computer will it cancel my down loads can i resume and will it keep downloading?

You need to close LW 1st!!! Wait for it to fully close. Wait a minute or more if necessary. You can open task manager to make sure LW is not still active, then shutdown your computer. If LW is still active when you shutdown your computer, it will corrupt your downld preferences!!! Using the task manager will help you to learn how long it takes on your system for LW to close down properly.
