I can`t search for my songs. the thing comes up, but nothing happens. please help.

Not sure what your asking. Do you mean you can't download? See Downloading problems after selecting 'Licence' requirement option

when i type in a song, it doesn`t search for it.

You'll have to give more details. Was it working before or are you a first time user?

i used to use limewire on my old computer. when i downloaded it, it just didn`t work. it works on every other computer in my house but mine.

1. Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False?

2. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there?

3. Try downlding a magnet link from here: http://www.magnetmix.com/video.shtml
What happens?

4. You'll need to find out more about the connection devices. What brand & models of modem & routers. Surely someone in the house knows. It should be listed on the top of side or bottom of the device. It sounds like you might be better to try a different port for LW to listen & connect thru.
