Downloads Reloaded

i reboot my C: drive...(my LimeWire was on another drive)
when it finished i turn on LimeWire and all my downloads on the Search page was gone...
i went to the library page and "Resume" my incomplete downloads to see that i had to START AGAIN FROM 0%!

i had like 10 files all round the 90's%
i do NOT want to start again; OBVIOUSLY!!!
anyone noe how to resume from where i left off?

I have almost the same problem as you do...here's the problem:

I shut down my computer for the night...the next morning, I can't see what I downloaded!

Do YOU or ANY OTHER USER know how to see your completed/
partualy completed downloadeds after LimeWire is restarted?

See http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...149#post162149 as it describes reasons for this happening. Another possible reason is you've accidentally deleted the Download.dat file in the incomplete folder.

ie: Make sure LW is totally closed before shutting down your computer. If it isn't then it will corrupt the downld preferences. Wait at least a minute before shutting down computer. Also, you may want to make sure you have downlds & uplds set to shutdown immediately. Go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>Shutdown & check this option.

I refered to a link a user gave me, it kinda hit my problem but not quite

Go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) The folder will open up for you. In any case, the Saved files folder lists newly downlded files.

SO YOUR SAYING EVEN AFTER RESTARTING LIMEWIRE GO TO LIBRARY (EXCUSE THE BAD SPELLING) AND LOOK @ THE BOTTEM HALF.

You forgot to turn your Caps Lock off. It looks like you're yelling at me, which isn't a very friendly way to talk to a forum administrator/moderator.

You can check your library anytime you want to. But if you haven't shut down LW properly before shutting down your computer then you'll have the problem as described. So the answer is yes.

Accepted ... now perhaps I should think about that lol

so there is no way to get the download back from where i left them from?
