Logged in this morning and got one simple message with no explanation and I can't find mention of it anywhere. It said 'can not load your downloads'...they're all gone !!!! Where did they go ? Why did they go ? Why isn't it occurring to anyone else ? Is LimeWire jacking with me for some unfathomable reason. I had a ton of partials that I've been nursing a few kb per session and in one fell swoop, with no apparent reason, every single one is gone. What is the deal ?

I WANT THEM BACK !!!!!!!!!!!

Do you mean that all your downloads in Saved Files are gone? Or is it your incompletes? Or both?

Do a search & look for one of the missing file names. Can you find it?

Nothing should delete unless you tell it to. Did you get your LimeWire from the official site? Have you run an AV, spyware, adware scan lately?

*Instead of losing the plot & ranting, maybe you could just explain exactly what the prob is

I know it's terribly tempting to jump on the virus thing but no, the error message appeared to be a legit limewire. thing. My incomplete file is cool but they would not load into the interface so I can't complete any of them...my download pane is empty whereas it had a hundred or so waiting to complete or for a source.

And a year later, it happened again HOWEVER, this time I took LOTR's advice and saved my incomplete files ! Thanks

Both incidents seem to have had a common cause....BROWSING a host and WHAM !!!!....a huge file count ensues and upon trying to either stop it from completely loading or trying to shut it down after it's loaded LW totally locks up and it takes several minutes just to shut down the entire app. Upon restart, I've gotten the error.
