Unhappy I need some help PLEASE

So I downloaded xxxxx yesterday, but I can't figure out how to save it to my harddrive. It showed that the download was 100%, but I couldn't get any further. I really need to use the software ASAP. What can I do.

A few things to say.

Do not use your E-mail address as your user name.

Do not discuss matters on the forums to do with Copyright infringement.

All this is in the forum rules.

If you must download programmes, ensure that you know what you are doing, and preferably get them from a 100% trusted source.

I'm a little curious.

Where exactly did you obtain Limewire from?

Did you pay more than US$ 18,88?

Were you given the impression that this was a legitimate source for downloading software?

Which version of Limewire are you using (see Help or Limewire > about)?

Large files will take much, much longer to verify. Once they reach 100% LW will try to verify them compared to the original hash tree that was downlded the moment you selected that file to downld. For a small file this might only take a few seconds. For a 200+ MB file, it could take quite some time depending on your cpu speed, connection speed, etc.

However, one thing that has been noticed is that when very large files reach about 99% they tend to lose all the multiple sources for some reason. That last 1% & verification seems to take forever sometimes. It might be a problem with hashing of the files. This doesn't always happen but has certainly happened with many large files over a long period of time.
