*** DOWNLOADING is IMPOSSIBLE ***

I recently had to reinstall Limewire. My connection is fine. My Firewall is fine. The install was fine, or so i think. The searching feature is fine...

BUT when I do a search and the results appear, clicking on them does nothing, and downloads do not commence. I can highlight them with the mouse. I can look at them and smile even, but absolutely nothing happens when I click them....no messages...no nothing. There seems to be absolutely nothing wrong with my licenses.

What is going on....

And how do I fix this....

Are you sure it's not a license thing? Just in case :

Go to tools > options > downloads & make sure your maximum downloads aren't set at zero (some of your settings may have changed when you reinstalled )

i just had the same problem for a bit..... found that i should totally reset the defaults that i had set in the the options option..... and it worked for me ... i can now download again
