I am by no means a computer savvy guy, but whenever I try and download any file with the AVI extension. Whenever I try and download it and play it says:
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The file is either corrupt or the Player does not support the format you are trying to play."

Then i can hear sound from what I downloaded but no images. what can i do to fix this???

You probably need to download the right codecs to play that file. XP Codec Pack 1.3.0 is supposed to be a good one for WMP.

You could also d/l another media player. VLC media player is a good one that has the codecs built in and will play most file types.
