hm. i need some help.
when i try to dowload movies. sometime the video dosnt show up. and other times it does. for instance. i'll down load a southpark episode. and it will download. but when i launch it. it opens the windows media player. and the sound works. but theres nothing on the screen but a few moving grey lines. and i only download MPEG. MPG. or AVI But other times it works.. Anyone know whats wrong? Thanks, 13 |

Your not supposed to name the files, it's part of the Forum Rules
![]() You probably need to download the right codecs to play that file. XP Codec Pack 1.3.0 is supposed to be a good one for WMP. You could also d/l another media player. VLC media player is a good one that has the codecs built in and will play most file types. Go to this thread for more on info: CODECs list for Movies /Alternate players / Video help forums

XP Codec Pack 1.3.0 do i unzip the files or leave them?? |

Once you download it then you have to install it. I don't remember if it is a zip file or not.
Or do you mean the video file? If you installed the codecs you should be able to play it in WMP. You shouldn't have to unzip a video file. If you do you better not open it.
