Ok, I've been using Limewire for a while now, and for some reason there is one movie that never lets me download. I search the movie and quite a lot of results come up (40). The file is legit and it's not a fake or anything, but it won't let me download for some reason.
Screenies: After I first click the download... ![]() After a minute or so it goes to this... ![]() Please help me, and if you need anymore information, please ask. (Btw, I blanked out the file name to avoid any problems; and I can assure you that it's a normal video you can get from your local movie store.) |

If it is a current release with exactly 40 sources that never
respond then it is most likely a fake result. The file doesn't even exist and none of the sources do either. You probably won't find a Bitzi ticket on it because nobody has the file to feed to BitCollider. Search again, sort the results by size and ignore the large amounts of similarly-sized files that are apparently being shared by large numbers of LimeWire users and nobody else. Check the bitzi tickets on files being shared by many types of P2P software and you will quickly find the files you really want. Don't be surprised if it's the smaller 150-200 MB files. |

You blanked out everything so it's impossible to know the file type. But try a different file-type if suspicions as AaronWalkhouse suggested prove valid. eg: Cant search well help & try mpg or mpeg, or avi depending upon which one is not the one you found. Bitzi research it also to see "if" there are user responses to that file.
BTW did you try to browse/direct connect to the hosts of the file you found that you couldn't connect to? There are fake Ultrapeers out there, & as AaronWalkhouse suggested, perhaps it seems there's fake hosts also. |

I did not browse/direct connect to the hosts; I'll check if what you say is true. I'll also try searching differently. Wish me luck. ![]() EDIT: For some reason it does not allow me to browse any of the hosts. Maybe it is actually a false file.
