Limewire "freezing" and "sticking"

When I first started using Limewire, everything was great. However, after getting the Limewire PRO version, my downloads have gotten progressively worse. Namely, my downloads "freeze" when they get to the point of "saving files."
It often takes me up to 20 minutes to download 2 or 3 songs. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but this hasn't helped. This doesn't happen to me while using Bearshare, and never happened while I was using the free edition of Limewire. I'd appreciate any form of help. (I'm using Limewire 4.10.9 version.)

Same thing happened to me, started out with up to 350/kb downloads,8 max. now lucky to get 50 and I can't get the Boss, trys connecting for 20 minutes then awaiting host or busy.
