 well... you were pretty close to the mark!  basically my view is that banishment is the only real resort to a jerkwad....warnings, attempts at dialogue, etc., are usually totally worthless...of course, warnings are almost always given, but rarely heeded, so they get banned... this rather hard line approach to things was hammered into my psyche whilst being an Operator on a 9 hub DC network...basically my belief is that the 'real' users need to be protected from such a$$holes, and the quicker, the better  |
