Default no picture while playing movies

Hi
my problem is sometimes once ive downloaded a movie and try to play it it doesnt come up with the picture and all i get is sound .And when i play it, it says at the bottom error downloading codec this is really anoying since i dont get any picture when trying to watch the movie. And it mostly happens with cartoon movies like Team America. so could someone please help me with this problem Thanks.

Hi thanks for the help. Im quite new to the downloading thing and am not to sure what a codec even is and on that link it doesnt say anything about downloading codec error. but thanks for the help.

OK The error means you do not have the proper codec for the file I suggest you read the link it will solve your problem.
