file type changed automatically????

Hi,
ive been downloading heaps of stuff, then the other day i turned on limewire and all my files had changed into some other type of file, and everytime i download it downloads all those same files in the same format, how do i get my it to change back to download normally. It has a brown coloured file thing now next nto my video downloads.

Don't worry, it's just the icon that's changed. Sometimes they seem to change back to the LW default... don't know why! Just make sure your default players for video & music are what they should be, if they've changed then you can change them back again! Confused yet? Here's how

Once you've done that, the icons should look normal again!

Thanks for the advice, it automatically changed back itself when i turned computer back on.

Mine switches back and fourth also. It doesn't seem to affect anything, but don't be suprised if it switches again.
