![]() I have a highly annoying problem. I've been using Limewire for a long time with absolutely no problem. Yesterday, I opened up Limewire and typed in a song. It searched and found it like normal. No problem! I click on the song I want and...nothing. I click it again. Nothing! I click another and another and another. NOTHING! No pop-ups saying I can't do it or why. No...just nothing! I double click and it's like I didn't click at all! This just happend suddenly. I never changed any settings or anything. I closed Limwire and reopened it and nothing. I restarted my computer and nothing. I uninstalled and reinstalled Limewire and still nothing. WTF is going on?! Has anyone else had this problem? Please help me! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

![]() That's weird but it might be a license issue, try reverting popups to default License Else try deleting your preferences when LW's closed Fixes for LimeWire No idea why this would happen out of the blue but try those 2 fixes & see what happens ![]() |

![]() Hey....I have the same problem. Mine was working fine. I didn't use it for a while(weeks). I open it up, do a search then double click on a file to download. And it does nothing. It won't open the download window. I read this forum and checked my firewall setting to off. I went in to make sure that Gnutella is listed twice where my settings are. The port numbers are right vs Limewire. What the heck? |

![]() Well I'll be danged. That tip from you and birdy worked. Thanks guys. (1) Revert Popups to Default : Go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>View>Popups & click revert to default. (2) Go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>Searching>Basic & decide whether to tick or untick "Show License Warning" (this is a setting you should do when 1st setting up.) |
