ive been trying to download a certian song for several hours and it just says connecting for about an hour before saying needs more sources, and this has happened about 20 times now and everytime ive clicked on a different download, ive even tryed uninstaling and reinstalling limewire but it still wont work. despite this i have been unable to download other songs just not the one i want, whats going on?

There are a lot of fake files around at the moment. Mostly new releases & very popular songs, with heaps of sources (up to 100). You're wasting your time with these, kill the download. Try to download a file with less than 10 sources, maybe cable/dsl or modem hosts. Use the All Types search rather than audio, search for artist or album rather than song title. This way, you might find some different results & some good sources

In your post you said "despite this I've been unable to download other songs"... is this a typo or can you really not download anything? Try going for an older song (a few years old) & see if you have the same trouble!

yes ive been able to download songs just not the one im looking for, despite clicking on about 20 different songs.
