| 6 Pac The drop in Manny54321's download speed (from 30-50 kps to 0-3 kps) seems to indicate that his ISP is now using traffic shaping techniques to cut down on P2P traffic. Asking ISPs if they use "traffic shaping" does not always work because, especially here in the UK, they don't like to admit it and/or don't pass on the information to their front line (non-technical help desk) staff. Mind you, with a name like "True" you would expect them to be truthful. UK Bob |
