deleting moving files

cannot move OR delete certain files from the shared folder. song can be downloaded and never accesed, lime wire says files is in use by another application

I don't delete or change any files whilst in LimeWire, I find it better to do this on my hard drive. Then, when I go back into LW- all changes are updated

I'm sure you know, but for the benefit of those that don't - the LW library is a direct reflection of what is on you hard drive. One poor soul didn't know this and deleted some of his files while in the library - Oops - gone- no more songs

Is LW running? If so close LW and than you should be able to delete/move the files!

I have the same problem, using 1.8b.
Some files can't be moved or deleted from libraries using Limewire delete button.
I have to close limewire and use the operating system to perform this function.
Earlier versions of limewire worked fine, but this one......................
