| If you've got a 64 kbps connection, that indicates you've got ISDN. Is that true? If so, you can double the speed by using two phonelines instead of one, though I'm not sure if that's possible with all ISDN modems. Also, upgrading to 512 MB of RAM would help a lot- perhaps not with downloads, but with overall system speed, since WinXP usually likes a lot more. |
