no problem connecting
Hi all,
I have no problem connecting to limewire... I have no problem uploading or downloading... Then why am I still seeing a firewall???... Should you able to connect and download and upload with the brickwall showing???... Thanx PopMal Last edited by PopMal; June 29th, 2006 at 08:59 AM.

Then this means your firewall has been set to allow limewire to work. I always see a firewall and I can download and upload fine just like you. It is nothing to worry about.

The brick wall means a firewall somewhere has "not" been configured for LW. It may be a software firewall or it may be a connection device such as modem or router with an internal NAT firewall. See tips on configuring these here Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link)
ie: whilst some people might be able to upload from you using a "push" request, most will be blocked out.
