Throwing my hat into the ring, I suggest you try and switch listening port to 1863, which is used by MSN Messenger Live to transfer files pictures and voice.
On this port they might at least allow you some bandwidth use range above the other ports, because they might connect it to the Messenger use.......
Just my 5-cent-worth (besides I've just recently done the same and flux, got 50-60 KB back from 0-1 KB.....)
