My Limewire is connected but it won't download any songs and occasionally (acctually quite frequently) it comes up with a message saying that I do not have the neccesary permissions. I thought it may be the Java so I updated my Java settings but this didn't help at all. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It's a lisencing issue...
Go To Tools > Options >Searching > and untick the lisence warning and then click apply.....
