![]() I used it for a while yesterday (The 4.12.3Pro that is) with no problems what-so-ever. Did you by any chance use the online installer when updating. Some have been having trouble with it. Was the brick wall there too in your old version ? Are you using Pro or Basic ? Here are some fixes for Limewire that you could try http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=36420 |

![]() I clicked the flasing link below the bottom of the download window stating there was a newer version to download then proceeded to do so.Yes the brickwall has been on the past few versions I've used.I am currently using the basic vesion of LW |

![]() Try a clean install Remove Java using the add/remove programs and limewire through start>programs>Limewire>uninstall Then remove all traces of limewire (not your shared folder off course ![]() preference folder and incomplete folder. Do a windows search to see if there is anything left (splashscreen etc.) Download the offline installers of both Limewire and Java (if you remember what version Java you were using before the upgrade, then try that one first) Java http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp Limewire http://www.limewire.com install Java first (some advise to disconnect from the internet while doing it) |

![]() Sleepless, thanks for the advice but that was the first two things I tried when this problem first occured.Neither one helped at all.The only reason I tried that was because I had a problem with a program a long time ago and the suggestion was to do a clean install one step at a time and see if that corrected the problem after each step.In that case it corrected the problem so that's what I tried first thing when this problem popped up.I even tried doing it using a different administrator but to no avail.I tried a couple of downloads late last night and it seemed to work a slight bit better than it has been for the past few days.I'm just not sure what's going on with it! ![]() |
