Limewire is my problem with burning! I download music and try to burn with WMP and it says I have no cd or the cd is dirty or try new media. I've burned many cd's and dvd's with this burner and no problems. I uninstall Limewire and what do ya know I can burn again! What's the problem and how do I fix it? I can only guess you have LW running whilst you're trying to burn. And some of those files are being shared/uploaded at that time & perhaps the burner is getting a busy signal. I've never had this occur but just a guess. Since you're running the files thru wmp, then the cd burner program ... Try closing LW & then burning. Else, just use your cd burner program without using wmp.

Try a real CD burning program. WiMP is weak in all respects.
Did your computer come with decent burner software? |
