heres the problem-afer downloading music and then hereing about all the record companies legal action (such a skazzaa and other p2p now goin lega and users getting fined etc)i deleted limewire-later on decided i wanted to reinstall it to get a couple of songs and after instalation it automaticaly finds the folder i was useing for downloads-why does it keep a record of this and how can such a thing be stopped happening after i uninstal it again?

It always uses the same folder. It didn't have to keep a record. If you want to
delete that folder nothing is stopping you. You don't have to worry about what you downloaded though. They never sue people for that anyway. The only way you could get in trouble with them is if you share thousands of songs or movies for months at a time, and even then the odds of getting sued are about the same as getting hit by lightning. |
