I accidentely downloaded something bad. I cancelled it right away, but now if you search it, it says it has been cancelled. If one of my family members sees, i will be in big trouble. Is there anyway I can make it seem like I never downloaded it?

Sure, don't search for it! Go to your Library window, select incomplete folder, find & select "that" file & press the Delete button. That will remove all traces of it. And close & reopen LW & that should refreshen LW's search I think or hope.

If it still doesn't work then remove the downloads.dat & .bak files from the incomplete folder whilst LW is closed. But that is an extreme & very, very last resort because it will affect any other incomplete files you have such as partial downloads which will then be seen as zero % downlded upon restarting LW!
