I looked up the fair access policy relating to the company/service plan

According to the policy, I can download x amount before FAP policy is initiated, after which the connection speed will go down to 56k dial-up mode,
and it takes about 6-8 hours for FAP to be lifted. Choosing to continue downloading will result in a constant 56k connection speed since recharging begins when your connection is either idle or turned off.
