![]() I have just got LM Pro and have downloaded some videos/music. When I click the 'launch' button, nothing happens. How else do i get to my downloads?? I can't make head nor tail of any of it. Where are the downloads stored so I can access them? Seems like a big hassle. Help please! ![]() |

![]() To launch a file, you select it from the LimeWire (LW) Library window & press the Launch button. With nothing selected, nothing will be launched. To find your downloads, select the Saved Files folder & select files within. You can also access this folder easily by selecting it & pressing the Explore button & this will open the folder up for you. For playing videos, we normally recommend VLC - (click on link) _ (choose nearest mirror site) because it is reliable & has in-built codecs which are mini program attachments the program uses to read & convert different formats to play them. Perhaps best if you make VLC your default player for videos (though it can also play most audio formats): Setting Default video app If you wish to preview a file that is downloading, it needs to be at least 5% downloaded. |

![]() I have the same problem with listening to music. I know where my files are located though. When I try to launch them in LimeWire nothing happens so I will then go to the actual file itself and try to play it in my media player and it acts as though it is playing, but no sound comes out. My volume is turned on and up also, because I have no problem playing a mp3 that I downloaded the night before. ![]() |

![]() Codecs is most likely the problem. That's why we normally recommend getting VLC for video downlds (it will also play audio.) Setting Default video app |

![]() yea, I cannot listen to any music as well. I have installed VLC, Winamp, and used WMplayer. The song downloads at like 4mb, then when I play it in any of these programs, it plays~but it is like 17 min long with nothing but static. I have downloaded several of the same song from different users as well as several different songs with no change....can you help me~prob me, but im lost. thanx |

![]() Probably bad files (all of them). There have a few people been on here complaining about up to 20 minutes of emptyness. Try searching for something else (preferably something older) to check if that is the case There are tips in this thread on how to get the file you want How to find music ![]() The way that you search has a lot to do with which results pop up (also covered in that thread) |
